This site is the result of the most enjoyable non-New Year’s resolution I have ever made.  I don’t claim to write well or make any sense, but I do enjoy subjecting the masses to my useless banter.

I started this page promising myself that I wouldn’t write about anything personal, but I’ve long broken that vow.  I am getting used to being far more forthcoming in here. There’s something really liberating about talking about things that I usually only tell two people about.

For a while I was told that I needed to have a purpose when I wrote and for a long time I didn’t realize what it was, but I think I have it figured out now. I’m a mess–in the same way everyone is when they’re trying to figure out what they’re going to be. That’s what this is about. About my mess.
