Yesterday during a budget proposal simulation, when asked why my group decided to cut funding to an economic diversification board for Quebec without making cuts from a similar board for Atlantic provinces, I likened making cuts to the Atlantic Canada board to cutting the third leg off a three legged dog.
Highly offensive…I know.

Well speaking as an Atlantic Canadian.. may I say… how nice of you to at least claim that we have three legs and ‘dog’ is the nicest thing anyone has ever called me. I think a better metaphor is a butterless lobster or like a curryless Indian dish. In my opinion, adpoting a reasonable persons test, an Atlantic Canadian would not be too offended. Mostly because you are so left coast and as we all know…. high!
